About Thrive Wellness Center

We're the only Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) certified practice in Fayetteville. That means we don't just help you feel better temporarily. We use evidence-based structural correction techniques to identify and address the root cause of your pain. We also take education seriously. You'll understand what's happening in your body and why, so you can be an active part of your healing. We've been serving Fayetteville families for over 14 years, and our patients tell us the difference is simple: you're known here, not just a number.

Dr. Ben Ozanne opened Thrive Wellness Center in 2012. We've been serving Fayetteville and the surrounding NWA community for over 14 years.

Dr. Benjamin Ozanne (DC) is the owner and primary clinician. He's CBP-certified and has been practicing for over 14 years. Dr. Alexander Umanzor (DC) is our associate chiropractor who handles new patient consultations and care plan presentations. Dr. Alex is bilingual in English and Spanish.

We treat low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches and migraines, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee and joint pain, scoliosis, TMJ/jaw pain, carpal tunnel, ankle and foot injuries, and auto accident injuries. If you're dealing with pain or restricted movement, we'd encourage you to schedule an evaluation.

Yes. We're a family-based practice that sees patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, including pregnant moms, athletes, and working professionals.

First Visit & Process Questions

Your first visit is comprehensive and covers everything in one appointment:

  • Consultation and health history review
  • Complete examination (including X-rays if needed)
  • First adjustment (if appropriate)
  • Review of findings and care plan recommendations
  • Discussion of pricing and insurance coverage

Most appointments take about 45–60 minutes. You'll leave understanding what's going on in your body and with a clear plan moving forward.

Plan for about 45 minutes to an hour. We take the time to do a proper evaluation so we can create the right care plan for you.

Your insurance card (if applicable), a photo ID, a list of any medications or supplements, and any recent X-rays or imaging you may have. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

In most cases, yes. After the consultation, exam, and any necessary X-rays, we'll begin your first treatment session the same day.

Most patients feel immediate relief. You may hear a popping sound, which is normal. If you prefer a gentler approach, we also use instrument-assisted and drop table techniques. We always explain what we're going to do and get your permission first.

Most people feel better right away. Some experience mild soreness for 24-48 hours, similar to after a workout. Staying hydrated and mobile helps.

That's completely normal. We walk you through every step and won't do anything without your permission. Watch Dr. Ben's "What to Expect" video on our website for a preview of exactly what your visit looks like.

In most cases, no. Arkansas allows you to see a chiropractor without a referral. Some insurance plans may have specific requirements, so call us and we'll check for you.

Care Plans & Expectations

It depends on your condition. A typical care plan starts at 3 visits per week and gradually decreases as your body heals. We'll explain the reasoning behind your specific schedule so it makes sense to you.

A standard care plan is around 28 visits, typically spread over 12 weeks. This starts with 3 visits per week for the first 4 weeks, then 2 visits per week for the next 8 weeks. Every plan is tailored to the individual.

Most patients notice some improvement within the first week. Lasting structural correction takes more time, but you should be feeling meaningful progress within the first few weeks.

You're welcome to. We'll never pressure you into a plan you're not comfortable with. We will be transparent about what we find and what we recommend, but the decision is always yours.

In many cases, yes. We'll review your surgical history and tailor our approach. The initial evaluation is designed to determine what's safe and appropriate for your situation.

We offer spinal decompression therapy, CBP 3-D traction, PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, Rapid Release soft tissue care, neuromuscular rehab exercises, and strength training. Your care plan combines the therapies that are right for your specific condition.

CBP is a research-based approach to chiropractic care that focuses on structural correction and postural rehabilitation. It uses measurable data, including X-rays and postural analysis, to track your progress. Thrive is the only CBP-certified practice in Fayetteville.
